My name is Wendy Lewis, better known as just ‘Wendi’. I am singer/ songwriter and performer from the beautiful islands of The Bahamas. My passion is quite simply music; I eat, sleep and breathe it. All of my free time is taken by it. If I’m not in rehearsal, I am in studio, or at performance. If I do have some time left over, I also like to hang out with my friends and family, travel and of course shop!
I definitely dislike mediocrity and people’s common acceptance of it.

I am totally inspired and influenced by the late Whitney Houston.
I grew up listening to her music and studying her voice.
The jazz greats such as Ella Fitzgerald are also artists that I still listen to today that make me want to be a better artist and make me want to ensure that my sound is unique and 100% mine.
As far as my influences today, there are so many! Beyonce!!! I’m also into African music, hip hop and anything pop culture. Destra is my all time favorite soca artist and I also love Machel Montano. For Bahamian music, I look to Ronnie Butler for his longevity in the industry.

Dyson Knight is an amazing talent that once you experience him, its undeniable.
