THE FLOWER OF EVIL
It’s a title that has followed me for a long time. I had the opportunity to record it in Havana when I was 25 and I was just discovering my voice. In fact, I am still discovering it..
HELIUM— The Flower Of Evil
It was important for me to return to Havana to shoot these images under my label Kemet Karibeans Music to deliver a bit of my story to the public. I take this opportunity to salute the wonderful team that contributed to this beautiful achievement: Gaëlle Gimer, Zandolywood & Mis’ko.
You chose Cuba to shoot the video. A crush?
Yes definitely.
Cuba: The starting point of the album
- 2008 with the Kreyol label (recordings of the tracks “ou Pati”, “Esperanza”, La fleur du mal)
- Return in 2017 to shoot the video for “la fleur du mal”
I always say that I was born for the second time in 2008 in Havana. I invite you to discover this people, their humility, their history, and their island Hasta Siempre!!!
